We are a group of UCLA Geography 111 students who are interested in the preservation and conservation of diverse forest ecosystems. This site is dedicated to introducing and bringing awareness to the unique flora found in the Comoros Forest and the different factors that continue to threaten its extent. However it is important to note that threats to biodiversity are not unique to this forest indicating that global forest conservation efforts need continuous support in order to thrive. We hope that by exploring this site you are able to gain a better understanding of the importance of preserving these diverse ecosystems.

We would like to thank our professor Dr. Thomas Gillespie as he continues to inspire us and other UCLA students to understand the importance of conserving forest ecosystems and to take action. We would also like to thank you for taking the time to visit our site and we hope that our efforts inspire you to take action as well!

Sincerely,

UCLA Geography 111- Group 24
